ANSA returns 23 low-quality oil tankers to Iran

KABUL: As many as 23 low-quality oil tankers, after assessing as low-quality have been returned to the Republic of Iran by the Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA), the administration said in a statement the other day.
According to the statement, at least 23 oil tankers had been stopped at the Abu Nasr Farahi ground port of the country’s southern province of Farah and returned to the neighboring country of Iran for being low-quality.
The National Standard Authority has recently taken necessary steps to prevent the import of low-quality oil and gas into the country.
Also, ANSA’s officials said no one would be allowed to import low-quality oil into the country and asked all national businessmen to import quality goods or they would face the law.
