KABUL: The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi during his trip to Kazan, Tatarstan, has met with Vasily Sergeevich, the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Russian Federation, the ministry said in a statement today.
In the meeting, discussions were held about granting preferential tariffs for Afghan products under the name of Least Developed Countries (LDCs).
According to the statement, the two sides also reached an agreement on the establishment of a special customs policy by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Commerce on Afghan export goods.
Afghan delegation led by Nooruddin Azizi, on the sideline of the Russian-Islamic World Economic Forum, has held multiple meetings with Russian, Tatarstan, and other officials of the Russian Federation.
