KABUL: Two development projects inaugurated in Paktia and Zabul Provinces, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements.
The first project includes the construction of a 50-meter gabion wall with a height of 4 meters, at a cost of 1.5 million Afghanis, constructed in Fathullah Khail village, Dur Baba district of Paktia province.
The second project is the construction of a check dam worth 3.5 million Afghanis, constructed in Bager village of Atghar district of Zabul province.
The check dam with a length of 25.6 meters, height of 3 meters will have the capacity to store 3,084 cubic meters of water.
