KABUL: The spokesman of the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of the country Atal Mashwani said in a statement today, that the members of the National Bodybuilding Team returned to the country after securing third place in the South Asia competition, which was held in Maldives.
During a ceremony the officials of the National Bodybuilding Federation and the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, appreciated and welcomed the achievement of the members of the national team and congratulated this victory to the people of Afghanistan, said the statement.
“We believe if the members of the national bodybuilding team participate in competitions at the global level, they will achieve even greater accomplishments,” said the officials.
The members of the Afghan national bodybuilding team by securing 11 medals won 3rd place in the competitions.
