Construction work on two water supply networks kicks off in Farah

KABUL: The construction work on two water supply networks worth 11 million Afghanis (some 155,100 US Dollars) kicked off in Farah province, Mufti Mohammad Nasim Sarhang, provincial director of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said.

The water supply projects will be built with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), in Shanba Milla and Haji Sakhi Kaka villages, Bakwah district of the province, he said.

Welcoming the projects, residents of the district said that after 20-year these are the first development projects in the province.
