KABUL: As a result of an explosion that occurred in a restaurant in Izmir, Turkey, on Sunday afternoon, 5 people were killed and 63 others were wounded, Turkish security officials said.
Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, confirmed the incident and said that investigations are underway into the incident.
Details about the identities of the victims have not yet been released.
Some reports indicate, that the incident happened as a result of a gas balloon explosion.
