KABUL: The contract for the extraction of gas from two wells, worth 7.5 million US dollars have signed with a Turkish company, local officials confirmed.
The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Shaikh Shahabuddin Delawar said that 300,000 cubic meters of gas are extracted from the wells every day, and the works will be completed by the end of one year.
“On daily, $60,000 will flow to the government’s treasury,” he said.
