Three water supply networks worth 14 mln Afghanis inaugurated in Logar

KABUL: The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) said in a statement that the construction of three water supply networks worth 14 million Afghanis has been completed and put into operation in Logar province.

According to the statement, the water supply projects with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) have been constructed in different villages of Pul-e-Alam city, the provincial center of Logar, and the districts of Baraki Barak and Kharwar of the province.

With the implementation of the projects, safe drinking water is provided to nearly 900 families.

Efforts are underway to provide safe drinking water to citizens in various provinces of the country.
