KABUL: The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi, in a ceremony held today to celebrate National Export Day in Kabul, said that currently, Afghanistan’s exports are flowing to 70 to 80 countries around the world.
The National Export Day ceremony was celebrated by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, other government officials, traders and others.
“Afghanistan’s exports have currently increased by 150 percent,” he said and called on investors and producers of the country to prepare their products according to global standards.
He also reported the Islamic Emirate’s decision to develop a five-year strategic export plan.
