Indian traders will inaugurate precious stone processing lab in Panjshir

BAZARAK: A number of Indian investors during their visit to Panjshir said that they are ready to establish a lab for the analyzing and processing of precious stones in the province, the provincial Mines and Petroleum Department said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, they made the remarks in a meeting with Mawlavi Mohammad Qasim Amiri, the head of the provincial mines and petroleum.
They said: “We will bring a number of Indian precious and semi-precious stone traders to Panjshir to invest in the province’s mines”.
Meanwhile, Mawlavi Amiri said that his-led department is a close partner with all domestic and foreign investors who have a good opinion on the development of mines and making the products of Panjshir mines famous, according to the statement.
He emphasized that the laboratory to be established by Indian investors will be able to determine the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of precious and semi-precious stones, their weight, and their value.
