KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Chargé d’Affaires Naqibullah Ahmadi, in Kuala Lumpur, met with Datuk Johari Abdullah, the Speaker of the Malaysian Parliament, the embassy said in a statement today.
In the meeting, providing facilitation on visa issuance for Afghans and cooperation in the medical, educational, and other sectors have been discussed between the two sides.
Naqibullah Ahmadi provided detailed information about the current situation of Afghanistan, domestic and foreign policies, investment opportunities, and the Islamic Emirate’s interaction with the regional countries and the international community.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Parliament Speaker referred to Afghanistan as a historical, free, and honorable country, and appreciated the efforts of the country in addressing challenges said the statement.
He also expressed hope that Afghanistan would also experience reconstruction and progress after the wars.
