National Labor Conference; Prime Minister called for comprehensive efforts to reduce unemployment

KABUL: Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, in a message on the occasion of National Labor Conference, held in Kabul today, called for comprehensive efforts by domestic and global institutions to reduce unemployment in the country.

 “Unemployment is a major problem in Afghanistan and providing employment opportunities for the people is one of the priorities of the Islamic Emirate,” he said in the message.

Prime Minister called on the foundations and organizations cooperating with Afghanistan to assist in creating job opportunities for Afghans.

“The Islamic Emirate is committed to developing a strategy on the basis of which jobs will be created for the citizens of the country,” he said as quoted by the message.

It is worth mentioning that the National Labor Conference was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Kabul.
