KABUL: At least 30 individuals have been arrested in connection with various crimes in some provinces of the country in the past one day, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement today.
According to the statement, the ministry’s relevant police personnel during a series of counter-crime operations, have arrested 30 people on charges of theft, illegal cutting of trees, harassment and some other crimes in Takhar, Zabul, Balkh, Samangan, Kunduz, Herat and Nangarhar provinces.
The detainees have been taken to the judiciary organs for further investigation into their files.
