Violent protests leave dozens dead in Bangladesh

KABUL: As a result of the students’ protest, around 95 people have been killed in Bangladesh on Sunday, media reported.

It is reported that 14 police were among the recent protest victims in Bangladesh.

The protesters and police were killed after clashing with each other and as a result of security forces opening fire.

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has accused the protesters of vandalism during the protests.

On the other hand, the protesters are calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from the country’s leadership.

More than 100 people were also killed and dozens injured in a previous series of student protests in Bangladesh about 10 days ago.
