KABUL: A total of 328 various development projects worth 153 million Afghani (some 2.2 million U.S. dollars) have recently been completed in the country’s central province of Ghazni, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement Wednesday.
According to the statement, the projects with the financial support of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) have been implemented in the Nahor district of the province.
The projects included the construction of roads, construction of irrigation canals, and retaining walls, the statement said.
During the implementation of the projects hundreds of people had been provided with job opportunities, the statement said.
