KABUL: The General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of the country said in a statement today that Kabul will host the Badminton Championship Competitions between athletes from the countries of Russia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
According to the statement, a four-member team of Russian athletes has arrived in Kabul to participate in the matches.
This four-member team includes three athletes and one of their coaches.
According to the statement, the Badminton competitions will be organized by the federation of this sport and in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee, Physical Education and Sports Directorate of the country.
In the competitions, 24 athletes from Russia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan will compete for the championship cup.
These matches will be held in the 2,500-seat gymnasium of the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports of the country.
It is planned that the Badminton matches will be held in the youth and adult age categories.
