KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, has met with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the country, spokesman of the IEA Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, said in a statement on Friday night.
According to the statement, the President of the UAE told the Prime Minister that his country stands alongside the Afghan people as a brother in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, in the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Al Nahyan and expressed hope for close relations between the peoples of the two countries under the banner of Islamic brotherhood.
The spokesperson added that the Prime Minister traveled to the UAE for medical treatment and during his visit met with the President of that country.
