Explosion leaves 16 dead 30 wounds in India

KABUL: As a result of explosion at a pharmaceutical factory in the Anakapalli area of Andhra Pradesh, India, 16 people were killed and 30 others injured, media reported.

According to the officials, the explosion occurred during the lunch break at the Sai Pharmaceutical factory.

The cause of the explosion is still unknown, but it has been said that a massive fire broke out after the incident.

Although around 300 people are employed at this factory, the occurrence of the explosion during the lunch break has reduced the number of casualties.

The aforementioned factory has been operating on dozens of acres of land for the past five years.
