KABUL: The counter-narcotics police personnel of the Helmand province discovered and seized 30 kilograms of Zyklon pills (drug pills) from the outskirts of Lashkargah city, the capital of Helmand province, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement today.
According to the statement, the police in Nangarhar, Ghazni, Parwan, and Helmand provinces also arrested six people in connection with the sale, trafficking, and use of narcotics and handed them over to the relevant authorities.
In addition to 190 F-type narcotics, some hashish, crystal meth, and narcotic tablets, have also been discovered from the detainees, said the statement.
Meanwhile, the country’s security and defense forces have intensified their efforts to prevent the sale, use, and smuggling of narcotics across the country.
