KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, leading a high-ranking delegation, left the country for Termez to participate in the inauguration of the Termez International Trade Center, his office said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, in an invitation of the Uzbek officials, traveled to Uzbekistan to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Termez International Trade Center.
It is expected that, in addition to the IEA Deputy Prime Minister, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, and representatives from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will also attend the ceremony.
Since the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan political and economic relations between Afghanistan and Central Asian countries have increased.
