KABUL: Health officials in Gaza have reported that 48 people have been martyred as a result of Zionist Israel’s recent attacks, on Saturday, concurrent with the launch of a polio vaccination campaign in the war-striken city.
Despite the World Health Organization initiating a widespread vaccination campaign for children in Gaza against polio, the Israeli military has stated that it will continue its strikes in central and southern Gaza.
The Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas welcomed the World Health Organization’s announcement to the beginning of the polio vaccination campaign in Gaza.
The organization plans to vaccinate 640,000 children, with an eight-hour pause in the fighting in Gaza.
It has been said that 90% of these children will need to receive the vaccine twice within a four-week period.
Meanwhile, the Zionist regime remains unwilling to allow innocent children in Gaza to receive the life-saving polio vaccine.
