Police detain two people on charge of forgery in Nangarhar

KABUL: Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani said in a statement on his X that two people have been arrested in connection with forgery in Nangarhar.

“The police personnel of Nangarhar detained two people who smuggled 200 copies of marriage certificates, 8 copies of fake driving licenses and 55 fake logos from Pakistan,” the statement quoted Qani as saying.  

He added that another person, who made fake Turkish visas for 8 people in Kot district of the said province and took 34 U.S dollars from them, was arrested and is under investigation by the police.

The Islamic Emirate has recently arrested many people on charges of fake documents, illegal visas and fake marriage certificates.
