KABUL: The 5th cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, was held on Monday, with Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, on the chair, discussing some issues on the agenda.
In the meeting, various issues including praising the country’s security organs, and coordination of reconstruction efforts have been discussed, according to a statement from Arg.
A delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, was tasked to praise the country’s security organs for ensuring security, the statement said, adding that for further maintaining security inter-agency meetings should be held between the security organs and their reports should be shared with the Prime Minister Office. Also, in the meeting, Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, the head of the Administrative Office, was assigned to hold meetings with Emirati institutions involved in the country’s reconstruction and make them aware of their responsibilities.
