KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, said as a result of the sacrifices of the Afghan people, the Islamic system is currently ruling throughout the country, according to a statement from Arg.
He made the remarks in a ceremony held on Friday night, about the Prophet’s characters and qualities Hazrat-e- Mohammad (peace be upon him) at Madrasa-e-Jihadya Shamsul- Uloom (Shams School of Spiritual Sciences), here in Kabul, according to the statement.
The ceremony was attended by the Acting Minister of Higher Education Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, prominent scholars, Mujahidin and some others, said the statement.
“The people are served in the light of religious values by the Islamic system,” the statement quoted him as saying.
Referring to the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he emphasized the implementation of Islamic morals in the lives of Muslims.
This ceremony was held while tomorrow (Sunday, 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal) coincides with the birthday of the great prophet of Islam, Hazrat-e- Mohammad (PBUH).
