KABUL: The Acting Minister of Interior Affairs, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani met with Japanese Ambassador to Afghanistan Takayoshi Kuromiya today, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the two sides praised the security situation and discussed various issues including the increase of Japan’s aid to Afghanistan and joint work with UNAMA in counter-narcotics.
Japan has already helped Afghanistan in the fight against drugs and education.
