KABUL: The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Abdul Qahar Balkhi, in a statement today on his X account expressed concern regarding the latest situation in Pakistan.
“The tension between the supporters of the government and the political opponents in the neighboring country of Pakistan has reached an alarming level, which may continue to impact the entire region,” he said.
The best answer to the legitimate demands of the people is understanding and negotiations, Balkhi said, adding that the Pakistani government and the relevant institutions should act rationally against the growing dissatisfaction.
It is worth noting that the recent protests and security incidents in Pakistan have made the current situation in the country tense.
