KABUL: The meeting of the Political Commission of the Islamic Emirate was held with the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, on the chair, discussing key national, and regional issues, Arg said in a statement on Monday
According to the statement, the meeting was attended by a number of high-ranking Emirati officials including Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat, Chief of the Staff of the Armed Forces, and Mawlavi Mohammad Ibrahim Sadr, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Interior.
In the meeting, the implementation of major regional projects, securing border areas, improving social conditions, and strengthening relations with a number of countries have been discussed, said the statement.
Also, in the meeting, it was emphasized that efforts should be made to ensure the security of the country’s borders and ports.
“It was also stated that no one would be allowed to pose a threat to others from Afghanistan soul,” said the statement.
Likewise, concerns regarding the escalating crisis in the Middle East were raised, and support was expressed for the legitimate claims of the Palestinian people.
