KABU: The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said in a statement that 124 projects worth approximately 35 billion Afghanis have been approved across the country in the current solar year.
The projects included the construction and reconstruction of highway roads and urban streets, dams, canals, health centers, airports, railways, telecommunications, and internet services, expansion of electricity generation networks, water supply networks, agricultural land development, retaining walls, as well as expansion of educational institution projects, said the statement.
According to the statement, the projects have been funded from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s budget.
