KABUL: The Acting Minister of Higher Education Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, during his visit to Kapisa province inaugurated a number of development projects worth 18 million Afghanis (some 269,818 U.S. dollars), Hafiz Ziaullah Hashemi, spokesperson for the Ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, the projects included a retaining wall at Al-Beroni University, with a length of 2,600 meters.
Shaikh Nadeem participated in a meeting with local officials in Kapisa, where he delivered a speech and emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education is committed to providing higher education (master’s and doctoral) opportunities for youth, said the statement.
Also, in a separate meeting with the students of Al-Beroni University, he listened to their problems and suggestions.
