KABUL: The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced the opening of an exhibition showcasing Afghan products in Almaty, Kazakhstan, according to a statement from the ministry on Monday.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Nooruddin Azizi and Serik Zhumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, according to a statement from the ministry on Monday.
Minister Azizi emphasized that the exhibition would significantly impact trade and sectoral relations between Kazakhstan and Afghanistan.
The Acting Minister expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan’s leadership in developing relations with Afghanistan and called for easier access for citizens of the region and Kazakhstan to Afghan products.
Afghan products are displayed across 70 booths for three days in Almaty.
Notably, a delegation of 250 individuals is accompanying the acting minister on his visit to Kazakhstan during this exhibition.
