FAIZABAD: Construction work on a road worth 13.6 million Afghanis, during a ceremony has been kicked off today in Faizabad the capital of Badakhshan province, local officials confirmed.
In the ceremony which was participated by the local officials, elders and mujahidin, Faizabad’s mayor Abdul Ghafour Sirat, stated that the road would be constructed from the municipality’s development budget.
According to him, the road, which passes behind the Badakhshan Provincial Hospital, will be built with 440 meters long and 12 meters wide.
Implementing development projects aimed at facilitating the lives of citizens is a priority for the Islamic Emirate.
