Afghan athletes leave for Qatar to participate World Snooker Championships

KABUL: A delegation, including four Afghan snooker players, left the country today for Qatar to participate in the World Snooker Championships, the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports on Sunday.
The World Snooker Championships, hosted by Qatar, all members of the World Snooker Federation have been invited to participate. The competitions are scheduled to take place from November 28 to 29 in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports stated that Afghan athletes are fully prepared to compete in these tournaments.
It is noteworthy that the championships will include both men’s and masters’ categories.
