KABUL: The counter-narcotics police personnel of Kandahar conducting 51 anti-narcotics operations detained 3 people in the province in the past one week.
Police spokesman of Kandahar Mullah Asadullah Jamshid, said that 210 grams of crystal, 3 kilograms of hashish, and 2 mobile phones were also seized in the operations.
He also added that 9.5 acres of land in some districts of Kandahar were cleared of poppy cultivation, and 94 drug addicts were collected from the city and districts and referred to the relevant hospitals.
