Finland President to Xi Jinping; the more North Korea supports Russia, the more complicated its relations with EU will become

KABUL: Following the revelation of hundreds of North Korean military personnel being sent to Russia, NATO and the European Union have conveyed a message to Xi Jinping, the President of China, media reported.

The message was delivered through Alexander Stubb, the President of Finland, during his visit to Beijing.

President Stubb informed his Chinese counterpart that North Korea’s actions regarding the deployment of military forces and weapons to Russia for use in the Ukraine war are provocative.

During his trip to Beijing, the Finland President warned about the consequences of such actions by North Korea.

“The more North Korea supports Russia, the more complicated its relations with the European Union will become,” he said.

The deployment of North Korean military forces to Russia has generated significant attention.
