New U.S. administration should undertake balanced policy for bilateral relations development, MoFA

KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a statement late on Wednesday called on the U.S. new government to undertake a balanced policy to help develop relations between the two countries.
The statement said: “With the release of the U.S. presidential election results, in the light of a balanced foreign policy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate hopes that the future administration of the United States of America will take realistic steps so that concrete progress can be made in the relations between the two countries and to open a new chapter of communication in the light of mutual interaction between the two nations.”
The 20-year occupation ended after the Doha Agreement was signed between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and the United States with Donald Trump’s leadership, said the statement.
It is also expected that Mr. Trump play an effective role in ending the ongoing wars in the region and the world, especially the invasion and torture in Gaza and Lebanon.
