KABUL: In the first match of the ODI series between the national cricket teams of Afghanistan and Bangladesh, the Afghan team, led by Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar’s exceptional bowling, defeated Bangladesh by a significant margin of 92 runs.
The Afghan captain, Hashmatullah Shahidi, won the toss and opted to bat first. The Afghan team scored 235 runs in their 50 overs, setting a target of 236 runs for the opposing team.
In this match, Mohammad Nabi scored 84 runs, and Hashmatullah Shahidi contributed 52 runs. In response, Bangladesh managed to score only 143 runs before being all out, losing the match by 92 runs.
In the bowling field, Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar by his outstanding performance then other bowlers got six Bangladeshi players out of the field.
