KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a statement said today that at least 25 people have been arrested in connection with various crimes in some provinces of the county.
During a series of counter-crime operations by the ministry’s relevant police personnel, 25 individuals have been arrested on charges of theft, murder, and various crimes in Nimruz, Samangan, Herat, Balkh, Jawzjan, and Ghazni provinces, the statement said.
According to the statement, the detainees have been taken to the judiciary organs for further investigations into their files. The ministry’s police forces have always been making efforts to crack down on the activities of criminal groups across the country.
