Rich countries pledge $300 billion to fight climate change

KABUL: At the United Nations (COP-29) climate change, annual meeting
in Azerbaijan, it was decided that rich countries will allocate $300 billion annually to poor countries to control the effects of climate change until 2035.

The decision will be implemented next year, and the total budget will be 1.3 trillion dollars by 2035, the rest of which will be obtained from the private sector and international financial sources.

It should be said that Afghanistan is also one of the countries that have been severely affected by climate change.
