KABUL: The Railway Deputy Minister of Public Works Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada and his accompanying technical delegation left for Turkey to attend the 34th meeting of the Middle East sector of the International Union of Railways (UIC), the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, Mawlavi Sahibzada will speak about the activities, achievements, and railway projects of the ministry and regional connectivity lines, development, and future plans of railway networks in the country.
After presenting the union’s annual report, the participants will discuss the improvement of rail and transportation activities, attracting investment, and the recent achievements of the regional countries, the statement said.
