HERAT: The country’s western province of Herat was blanketed in snow, the governor’s press office said in a statement on Sunday.
Residents of the province welcomed the first snowfall of the year, inspecting it as a good omen.
A number of Herat’s resident expressed their hope that this year’s snowfall would bring abundant blessings to the province.
The Meteorological Department reported yesterday evening the possibility of rain and snowfall in eleven provinces of the country.
