U.S drops $10 million reward for arrest of Syria’s new leader after Damascus talks

KABUL: The United States of America has removed the $10 million reward that it had announced for the capture of Hayat al-Tahrir al-Sham leader Abu Mohammad al-Jolani in Syria.

It is said that this decision was made after Al-Jolani met and talked closely with American diplomats in Damascus.

Earlier, U.S. Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken also said that the newly established government in Syria will be officially recognized after meeting certain conditions.
