KABUL: As a result of aerial firing to celebrate the New Year, 29 people, including 2 women, were injured in Karachi, Pakistan.
The Security officials said that they have arrested 30 people in connection with these shootings.
The security officials of Karachi and the emergency aid agency said that the injured were taken to hospitals.
The Karachi police had earlier warned that there would be no firing on New Year’s Eve.
It should be mentioned that in the past there have been shootings in Karachi during Eid, games and New Year celebrations, which left many families in a state of fear.
