KABUL: The Indian media reported that due to an outbreak of a strange and unusual virus causing “baldness” at least 150 people have lost their hair in three days, in several villages of the Maharashtra state of India.
“Individuals infected with this virus are experiencing rapid hair loss, with some losing all their hair within just three days,” said the report.
Symptoms of the “baldness virus” reportedly begin with itching around the scalp, and it has been seen in about 400 individuals. However, some reports suggest that this virus may be linked to contaminated water, fungal infections, malnutrition, and sensitivities to certain chemicals or cosmetic products.
