Over 130 Afghan prisoners released from Pakistani jails


NANGARHAR: A total of 132 Afghan nationals have been released from a central prison in Pakistan and returned home, the Nangarhar governor’s press office said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, the individuals who were arrested by the Pakistani police due to lack of legal documents, have been released and handed over to Interpol police at the Torkham border and are set to be transferred to their home areas.
The released prisoners had spent between two to twelve days in jail, said the statement.
