TikTok unavailable across U.S. as ban takes effect

KABUL: American media reports indicate that the popular Chinese app TikTok is currently inaccessible in app stores across the United States.

According to reports, users now have no access to the app, and companies, including Google and Apple, are unable to sell it.

Many Americans have attempted to visit online app stores, only to be informed that the app is unavailable.

Reports also suggest that TikTok’s website has assured its American users and followers that a solution to this issue is being worked on.

Following the passage of legislation banning TikTok in the U.S., approximately 170 million users are unable to access the platform.

It was previously reported that Elon Musk, the current owner of X (formerly Twitter), intended to purchase TikTok, but the app’s owner did not agree to this proposal.
