EU asked for IEA’s cooperation in fair distribution of aids

KABUL: The Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, met with the European Union Chargé d’Affaires Veronika Boskovic Pohar and the accompanying delegation.
In the meeting, the EU announced 47 million euros in aid to Afghanistan in the fields of education, food, clean water and health services, according to a statement from the ministry.
Boskovic has stressed that the Islamic Emirate should collaborate with the European Union in the fair distribution of aid.
“The collaborating institutions of the European Union have allocated €113 million for Afghan refugees, focusing on various sectors such as healthcare, education, employment opportunities, and food supplies,” said the statement.
During the meeting, the Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriations emphasized the urgent need to end the mistreatment and forced expulsion of Afghan refugees in Pakistan and Iran.
He urged the European Union to prioritize food and humanitarian assistance for Afghan refugees during the winter season.
