KABUL: Indian media outlets report that New Delhi is seeking to enhance and support Chabahar Port.
The Times of India, quoting an Indian official, emphasized that Chabahar is a crucial connection point in the region for delivering humanitarian assistance.
Also, the Indian official noted that last year, officials from Delhi and Tehran signed a 10-year agreement aimed at strengthening Chabahar Port.
It is planned that during this period, the Shahid Beheshti Port will be equipped by India.
Chabahar Port is one of the key maritime trade ports in Iran, developed with Indian investment to facilitate trade with Afghanistan.
