KABUL: The Ministry of Public Health said in a statement today that for the first time, a 200-bed cancer treatment hospital will start operation soon in the country.
According to the Acting Minister of Public Health, Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, while visiting the construction site of the cancer treatment hospital emphasized the need for support and assistance for cancer patients and assured them of the ministry’s special attention.
The acting minister underscored the importance of completing the hospital’s construction and starting its operations as soon as possible.
This is the first time, that a hospital, specifically for cancer treatment, will be functioning in Afghanistan.
