KABUL: The Foreign Minister of Russia, Sergey Lavrov, stated that the deployment of European peacekeepers to Ukraine is unacceptable for his country.
According to international media, Lavrov made the remarks during his visit to Qatar, describing the proposal to send European peacekeeping forces to Ukraine as likely to prolong the peace process between Moscow and Kyiv.
He emphasized that no one has inquired about the deployment of European peacekeepers in Ukraine.
Following the French president’s visit to the United States, Donald Trump suggested that European peacekeepers be stationed in Ukraine, adding that the Russian president also agreed with this proposal.
