Construction of a water supply system cost seven million Afghani begins in Logar

PUL-E-ALAM: Construction of a water supply source worth 7 million Afghanis started in Arza district of Logar province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement the other day.

The project will be funded by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), said the statement.

The water supply will provide safe drinking water to 500 families in Dara-e-Mangle area of the respective district.

The project will be implemented in close cooperation with the provincial department of the ministry.
